Gastroenteritis (Stomach Flu)
Gastroenteritis, commonly called ‘stomach flu,’ leads to vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain. Usually viral, it spreads rapidly in groups. Treatment involves hydration, rest, and dietary adjustments to avoid dehydration. Severe symptoms merit urgent medical attention, and parents are counselled on safe fluid and nutrition management.
